So today (Sunday) something awesome happened. Something that has never happened to me in my whole decade and a half of living (when I descibe myself that way (a whole decade and a half old) it makes me appear a whole lot older and wiser than my mere 15 years!) :) . Anyway this was awesome because, well, ... guess.
Wait, Im getting ahead of myself here (suprise, suprise!). First let me set this up. This was no ordinary Sunday. For one, I woke up late (I normally wake up and study my scriptures before church), but since I woke up later, I took a shower and rushed off to church, but don't worry, I made it there on time - even early! Basically, I am just amazing! :)
So anyways I get there (*So get me to the Church on time!*), and I'm sitting there, listening to the amazing speakers, trying to keep my nephews and neices entertained, and bascially, enjoying church as always. But, the whole point of this story is yet to come. (Sorry, all the stuff and fluff so far is a result of me trying to distract you --- am I doing a good job?!?) :)
So.... back to the real stuff, Church goes pretty much as normal until .... (gasp!) the musical number! Now, at first this musical number was not that different from other musical numbers performed by the choir (besides some slightly-out-of-tune sopranos). But about 45 seconds into the musical number this amazing thing happened! (Prepare to be amazed!) The fire alarm went off. Now, at first (I will not lie), I was alarmed, as the fire alarm was going off, and this had never happened before (esp. during sacrament meeting). So I sat there and calmly looked at the Bishop, and he motioned to the lady wildly moving her arms (aka the conductor of the choir) to keep on waving to the slightly-out-of-tune sopranos to hit the right pitch. Then he motioned to one of his counselors to go see what was the matter. So, about 400 of us sat there, smiling away, in a burning buliding thanks to Andrew's dad, aka Bishop Blackham. So all are just sitting there wondering what in the world is going on, all the while the choir is singing away. And whaddayaknow, with my sense of humor, I totally bust up laughing. It was horrible! I tried to hard to keep and straight face and not laugh, but no avail. So the alarm keeps on going for quite some time, and the chior just keeps on singing and singing. It was awesome. Finally, it turns off. (No, sadly not the Choir, but the alarm.) (For a whole 15 seconds) And starts back up again. This time for 10 seconds. It repeats this a few times and then finally the incessant noise ceases. Basically, this is the end of my story, but I thought it was prety much awesome! So, in answer to my never before stated question of why my sunday was so unique and great, it is largely due to my experience while heavenly chiors sang.

I think that is pretty much the funniest sunday I've ever heard of!!!! I play the organ, and I can just picture myself jumping a million feet into the air when it went off, crashing my fingers down on countless wrong notes, and totally losing my place and throwing everybody off.....ha ha ha. That would be a memorable day. =D
One time I was playing the sacrament song, and towards the end of the song when I looked over at the priests, they weren't done breaking the bread. When that happens they always have me continue playing softly even though the song's over. Well, this week I accidentally turned the organ volume UP instead of down. Woops! Well, that's not TOO bad all by itself, but the second I played the first EXTREMELY loud and unreverant note, the boy started the first words to the prayer. We both were so shocked that there was an awkward silence for like 30 seconds, and neither of us knew what to do. The bishop, with a panic-stricken look, was glancing back and forth between us hoping someone would do something. =D The entire bishopric and half the audience was turning red trying to stifle their laughs... I was bright red, but not from embarassment. I too was trying not to spoil the mood by burting out into laughter. =D needless to say, it was hilarious, and a Sunday I won't be forgetting soon. =D Hm...hopefully you were mildy entertained by that....otherwise I just left you a really long pointless blog. =D
