End-of-the-Term Madness
Sitting here, doing Homework, hoping that I won't have to do another 4:30 night (more like morning), I sit here and ponder the question...
Why do they have the end-of-term madness? NO ONE likes it, so why have it? I mean, I could understand it if the teacher's liked it, but so far it appears to be otherwise (more like the exact opposite). And so far I haven't met a single student who looks forward to the end of the term week, except to get it over with. I guess the people who made up the end of the term weren't teachers and definitely weren't students. And did I ever tell you the stupidity of finals? All it causes is stress, which causes brain damage, because in the end you die early of a heat attack, and then your brain doesn't work anymore...which in the end makes you more stupid since your brain doesn't work when it's dead! (Use Common Sense here, people!) :) And as I'm writing this I realize the random weirdness of this, and realize I don't care right now. Maybe it has something to do with the recent "late nights" which are really "early mornings" which are really "how-long-can-i-go-without-sleep-athons". Let's just say I'm excited to be able to come close to getting the recommended hours of sleep, instead of half of them. So in answer to the profound question of why they have end of the term madness, I don't quite know or understand, besides some nice people who just sit in offices and answer phones want to make you die a lot earlier.
